• Side Channel Blowers

Some technologies are so good that it is hard to improve them. Side channel blowers from Elmo Rietschle are such an example. They have proven their reliability in service for many decades, performing flawlessly day in and day out with virtually no down time. Noise levels have been lower than that of most other vacuum pumps and compressors. Side channel blowers are used for conveying gases and gas-air mixtures.

• Radial Blowers

Elmo Rietschle offer a complete range of single-stage and multi-stage radial blowers for vacuum and pressure operation. The primary applications for these radial blowers are in the paper handling and packaging industries. The smaller range of radial blowers have built-in dust separators which can also be used for extracting small particles like powder or paper dust.

• Oil-lubricated and Dry running rotary pumps and compressors

Rotary vane pumps have great capacity both in the vacuum and pressure ranges and are durable enough for applications which are heavy duty. Depending on the processes and applications you require these pumps for, you have an option of either dry running or oil-lubricated units – ensuring you can reap the benefits from the advantages of either technology. Either version is available in a single-tiered or a two-tiered design. The single-tiered option is generally air-cooled, whereas the two-tiered version is water-cooled.

• Roots-type blowers and compressors

The compact Roots-type blowers are classified as dry running positive displacement pumps, which means that there is no need for oil or grease in the compression chamber. Only the gear box and bearings require oil lubrication, which are separated from the pumping chamber. Two non contacting triple-lobed Roots rotors rotate against each other in the compression chamber. These triple lobed rotors avoid pulsation complications. Elmo Rietschle's blowers are customised to suit our customers' varying needs.

• Innovative claw technology

Elmo Rietschle's C-Series claw-type vacuum pumps and compressors produce contact-free vacuum or compressed air effectively and economically. This is made possible due to the principle of internal compression used in this technology. The gas is pre-compressed within the compressing chamber and is then released. This leads to an unmistakable saving in energy costs compared to rotary lobe blower designs which do not incorporate internal compression.

• The screw: Rugged and durable

The VSB and VSA dry running, contact-free screw vacuum pumps are mainly used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries for processing applications. Contamination with oil or any other operating liquid is not possible. Various sizes of pumps are available, and come with ATEX certification. Elmo Rietschle are currently launching their new VSI screw vacuum pump – the first of it's kind – for applications such as drying and packaging.
